- Service of customers in Storm's Den Food Service, located in Tower Hall.
- Giving exceptional customer service to our guests.
- Promoting our products.
- Cleaning all equipment and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Serving hot food on the line, working on the grill, making sandwiches, Stocking Salad Bar, prepping Grab and Go, and prepping food for the next day.
- Washing Dishes, Pots, and Pans and putting them away
- Keeping the Dining area clean.
- Communicating with Supervisors and Managers.
- Stocking the line during shift and re-stocking afterward for the next day.
- Taking Temperatures of coolers and food and recording as needed.
- Ensuring all food leaving the area is recorded as a sale and that inventory is accounted for through proper cashiering procedures.
- Must be a current or incoming CSS student
- Federal work study eligibility is required
- Students are not required to work over College breaks, but must be able to work some weekends and also may be required to work snow days and Community Days.
- Anyone applying for this position should be able to come to work with a positive attitude and friendly disposition.
- At times this job is stressful and multi-tasking is required to complete the tasks at hand so the applicant should be able to move as quickly as needed and be able to prioritize tasks to get their job done as efficiently as possible.
- Applicants need to be able to lift up to 20 pounds, push food carts, bend, reach and move quickly.
- People chosen for this job would be working with very hot equipment and required to work with safety in mind.
- There are also cleaning supplies we use daily so anyone with an aversion to these things may not want to consider applying.
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Looking for students with availability during the day (lunch)
- Students will be given a work shirt and hat upon hire but are required to wear black pants. Blue Jeans, Yoga Pants, and Sweatpants are not allowed.
- Students are recommended to purchase non-slip shoes, however non slip covers are available if needed.
