About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and involves working approximately 10 shifts per month, including day and overnight coverage throughout the week and weekends. The position requires direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, collaborating closely with physicians and managing a daily census of around 60 patients.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department
- Conduct assessments, perform procedures, and manage emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Document and communicate patient information efficiently
- Assist with the daily management of a census of approximately 60 patients
Additional Information
- Illinois state license and CSR required
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
