ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Warmly greet and seat guests following established procedures.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback on their meals and invite them back as they depart.
  • Efficiently operate the point-of-sales system and handle all cash transactions.
  • Accurately complete daily register transactions and make vault deposits.
  • Provide information on events and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist with restaurant cleanliness including cleaning floors, arranging tables, and refilling drinks.
  • Keep management informed on the business flow and customer feedback.
  • Stock cashier supplies and maintain cleanliness standards regularly.

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required Knowledge:

  • At least 6 months of restaurant experience in a guest service role.
  • Prior experience handling cash transactions.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with point-of-sales software is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong math skills.

Required Abilities:

  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks professionally.
  • Adhere to dress code policies and maintain personal hygiene.
  • Interact courteously with guests, coworkers, and management.
  • Communicate clearly and pleasantly with guests.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to walk and/or stand for up to 8 hours with fast-paced mobility.
  • Good sense of balance and ability to bend and kneel.
  • Ability to reach, twist, push, pull, and grasp objects regularly.
  • Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds independently.
  • Perform repetitive hand and wrist motions efficiently.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is primarily performed in a restaurant setting but may involve moving onto a gaming floor with flashing lights and sounds.
  • Must be able to work in tight and cramped quarters.
  • Flexible schedule required, including availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Occasionally interact with challenging individuals.
  • High volume direct public contact.
