Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Claims Payment SME with a strong background in commercial claims, payment processes, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution definition for a global claims payment environment. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams to optimize payment workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Certification: Agile Certified Product Owner, Pega CBA (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Requirements Workshops - Independently facilitate sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Process Mapping & Solution Definition - Analyze current state payment workflows and define optimized target state solutions.
  • Claims Payment System Enhancements - Work with Payment Hub (One Inc) and other platforms to enhance claims payment processes.
  • Documentation & Change Management - Develop business requirements, process documentation, and ensure alignment with change management procedures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with business liaisons, treasury teams, and IT departments to determine payment process requirements.
  • Business/IT Workshops, Demos, and UAT - Drive engagement efforts for system improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Claims Payment Lifecycle Knowledge - Bring expertise in insurance claims payment processing, payment channels, disbursements, payee information platforms, and master data management.
  • Compliance & Standards - Ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies while handling end-to-end requirements.
  • SQL & RDBMS Expertise - Utilize strong database knowledge to optimize claims payment workflows.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Agile Way of Working
  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial Claims & Claims Payment workflows
  • Payment SME with deep expertise in insurance claims payment processing
  • Pega CBA Certified or experience in Pega Payment workflows (preferred)
  • AGILE Certified Product Owner
  • Strong SQL and RDBMS knowledge
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with One Inc Payment Hub
  • Experience with Treasury, Payment Channels, Disbursements, and Master Data Management in Insurance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
