Pediatric Neurosurgeon
The CHOC Specialists' Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery is seeking a faculty member to join an active and collegial group. Our highly experienced, board-certified pediatric neurosurgeons provide innovative and compassionate care to treat neurological disease in children. The Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery treats the full spectrum of neurological conditions and injuries and has several specialty programs, including a comprehensive epilepsy program, concussion clinic, maternal fetal evaluation, neurofibromatosis program, neuro-oncology program, as well as clinics for plagiocephaly, spasticity, spina bifida, and tuberous sclerosis. The Division is a member of a large multispecialty group with strong collaborations with other divisions and support services. The Division has the distinction as a leader in providing outreach clinic and telehealth services throughout the southern California region.
Additionally, our Division has a history of promoting innovation, research, and education. Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) is a teaching facility for the UC Irvine School of Medicine. The faculty member will be responsible for cultivating an environment that advances the strong clinical, research, and educational missions of the CHOC Specialists' Pediatric Neurosurgery Division.
Qualifications:
The Division seeks a dynamic, passionate, and capable physician with a proven track record of collaborative clinical experience, administrative experience, program development, and community engagement. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, be eligible for licensure in California, and be board certified/eligible in Neurosurgery. Pediatric Neurosurgery Endovascular Fellowship preferred.

Among the CHOC Specialists division, the Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty (PSF), a private pediatric subspecialty group, is the employer for this position. PSF is comprised of more than 420 physicians and advanced practice providers across 26 pediatric subspecialties. Our team practices at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), a nationally recognized leader in pediatric care, with two state-of-the-art hospitals in Orange and Mission Viejo. CHOC is affiliated with the University of California, Irvine (UCI), and is a premier teaching site for its medical students and residents.

Annual salary range is $600,000 to $750,000.
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
