Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Welder to join their dynamic team. As a Welder, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the metal finishing and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Carson, CA

Pay Range: $30.00

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available

What's the Job?

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written instructions to determine work specifications.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, and shears to prepare metal components.
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications, including cutting and aligning parts.
  • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws and ensure quality standards are met.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sheet metal and/or fabrication experience.
  • Proficiency in reading technical documents and drawings.
  • Experience with welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, MMA.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including wearing PPE and working in hot or dusty conditions.

Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:
  • 1st Shift 5:30am-2pm
  • 2nd Shift 2pm-10:30pm
