Your Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize radiographic and CT imaging techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for medical evaluation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and the larger healthcare team to ensure precise interpretations of images
  • Position patients correctly while fine-tuning equipment for optimal results
  • Implement radiation safety protocols to safeguard the health of patients and colleagues
  • Maintain thorough records, including imaging documentation and equipment maintenance logs
  • Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging processes
  • Foster an organized, safe, and efficient imaging environment
Educational Background Required
  • An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
  • Graduated from an accredited radiology program
Certification Requirements
  • ARRT certification (Radiography and/or CT is preferred)
  • Current BLS certification or ability to acquire it within 90 days post-hire
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills serving patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while adapting to fluctuating demands
  • A detail-oriented and accountable approach to your work
  • Comfortable utilizing PACS, RIS, and modern imaging software
