Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Imaging Specialist will perform diagnostic imaging exams while delivering the highest level of customer service and image quality.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for patient populations specific to your department.
  • Understand growth and development principles and assess patient needs according to their age.
  • Assess the learning capabilities of patients and families, incorporating individualized teaching methods.
  • Deliver compassionate, holistic care while respecting the rights and dignity of all patients.
  • Show proficiency in operating equipment and following procedures within the radiology department.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Preferred: One year of acute care experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
