The expected salary range is $28.02 to $34.25, contingent on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Entry-Level Plumbing Technician performs a variety of plumbing services for residential customers and actively promotes the sale of all other services offered by our company.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Install and modify plumbing equipment in compliance with installation instructions, supervision guidance, and relevant local codes.
- Assist with basic service tasks on steam boilers under supervision.
- Provide a comprehensive range of plumbing services including repair or replacement of faucets, toilets, domestic water lines, and drain lines.
- Modify and fabricate pipe fittings as necessary for installation.
- Identify electrical, plumbing, and safety issues related to installations and implement the required corrective measures.
- Complete any clerical duties needed to fulfill service requests.
Minimum Qualifications
- Apprentice License holder with at least 4 years of experience.
- Successfully completed 7,500 hours of training under the supervision of a licensed master plumber.
- In-depth knowledge of tools and materials relevant to the plumbing service field.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints, specifications, and schematics with advanced proficiency.
- Proficient in operating sewer cleaning machines.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Advanced sales skills with a talent for recommending and promoting all company services.
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Must meet company driving standards, including possessing a valid driver's license.
