Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to the unique demands of the emergency department. Collaborate with medical providers and care team members to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care following established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will advocate for patients and their families while embodying our organizational values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

• Regularly assess and manage patient pain, ensuring timely interventions.
• Perform medical procedures as directed and document care in the patient medical record thoroughly and promptly.
• Deliver exemplary care by promptly addressing patient requests and proactively anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes for effective self-management.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred
• Must be a currently licensed registered nurse in the state of practice or have an active compact license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
