Job Description

KPFF Portland Structural is looking for Entry-Level Structural Engineers who are motivated and have a desire for growth.

KPFF is about freedom to work on what inspires you. Our engineers work on a diverse spectrum of projects in locations around the globe: from mass timber buildings to complex, non-linear analysis of high rise structures. At KPFF you will be trusted to work individually and collaboratively in the design and construction process with talented engineers, BIM/CAD technicians, architects, project managers, contractors, support staff, and client teams for a wide array of intriguing projects.

Qualifications

In addition to being creative, proactive and detail-oriented, the preferred candidate will have:
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Structural emphasis (required)
  • MS or MEng Degree with Structural emphasis (preferred)
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Candidates with an undergraduate degree may pursue a master's degree and receive full tuition reimbursement. KPFF offers a flexible work schedule while pursuing your master's degree.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits.
  • Capacity to move around project sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.
