American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) certification, and skills in fluoroscopy and OR procedures.
Responsibilities- Work in a Level III Trauma, acute care hospital setting
- Covers X-Ray Tech unit with floating required to OR, orthopedics, fluoroscopy, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room as needed
- Handles both adult and pediatric radiology cases
- Shift schedule is Saturday through Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three 12-hour day shifts
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR preferred
- Performs radiographic procedures independently with sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
- Must provide or wear teal top and black bottom scrubs
- Orientation modules are completed pre-start
- First-time travelers are accepted
- All requested time off should be disclosed at application; approval is subject to facility need
- 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
- Former employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as travelers
- No parking costs for employees
- Hurricane season may require participation in emergency response teams
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Current ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR certifications required
- Experience with fluoroscopy and operating room procedures required
- Radiation badge required, must be supplied by the agency
- SSN and driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Able to float to multiple departments within scope of practice
