Overview

Allied Wire & Cable, a GCG Company, is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our tight-knit team in Grapevine, TX In this role, you will be responsible for picking, receiving, operating spooling machine, and assisting with otherdepartments when needed.

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm M-F with an hour for lunch

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr + full benefits

Location: 1051 Mustang Drive, Suite 300, Grapevine, TX

What You'll Do
  • Accurately pick inventory using forklifts, cherry picker, and RF scanners
  • Utilize hand-held scan gun and computer systems to track, relocate, count, and manage inventory
  • Set up and operate wire cutting & spooling machine to cut/spool wire
  • Assist with shipping & receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials
  • Perform quality control checks
  • Assist with additional duties as needed
What You'll Bring
  • Warehouse experience required
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Comfort doing basic math and reading measurements
  • Previous computer experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn and cross train
  • Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
