About the Role: As a Surgical Technologist I, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of the surgical environment. Your expertise in aseptic techniques and ability to anticipate the surgeon's needs will ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surgical areas with a focus on cleanliness and safety, utilizing aseptic techniques.
- Assist in the setup and management of operating room equipment and instruments.
- Function as a Second Assistant when required.
- Provide essential support for patient transport and positioning.
- Maintain specialty carts and ensure equipment availability and functionality.
- Report any equipment issues promptly to the appropriate team members.
What We Are Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- A positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive pay range: $26.10 - $39.15.
- Sign-on bonuses available: $10,000 for eligible relocations and $2,000 for evening shift hires.
- Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off.
Schedule Details: Full-time evening shifts with on-call responsibilities around 5-8 overnight slots and occasional weekend calls.
