Looking for reliable caregivers in Ypsilanti Area Communities to provide Personal, companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly and those requiring recuperative or continuing care.
Responsibilities (will vary by client):
Personal Care (ADLs) - Showering client and watching to prevent fall
Showering, Personal care and grooming,
Monitoring Mobility
Dressing, Housekeeping: cleaning.
Meal preparation, Nutrition and clean up
Follow plan of care
Communicate professionally with families and your team
Other duties as assigned
Client LocationYpsilanti / Ann Arbor
Caregivers located close to the clients are preferred.
SummaryAs a Caregiver for the Elderly, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will utilize your core skills in long-term care and personal care to assist residents with daily activities and maintain a safe living environment.
QualificationsProven experience in long-term care and home & community care
- Strong personal care skills, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Familiarity with first aid and emergency response protocols
- Experience in assisted living and memory care settings
- Knowledge of resident's rights and vital signs monitoring
- Ability to work effectively with seniors, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's disease
- Competence in meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
