About The Position
We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Alabama, beginning Dec 15, 2025. This opportunity involves serving as a collaborating physician, supporting 2-4 psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners through chart review and consultation. The schedule and responsibilities are focused on collaborative oversight and answering questions from nurse practitioners as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as a collaborating physician for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners
• Answer clinical questions from nurse practitioners
• Review 10 percent of charts for assigned nurse practitioners
• Provide oversight and guidance in accordance with state regulations

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Alabama
• Willingness to act as a collaborating physician is required
