The Opportunity
Take charge of a dynamic sales team within a designated area of our division. You'll set innovative sales strategies, establish ambitious goals, and drive process improvements to achieve exceptional results and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction. Lead the way in recruiting, training, retaining, and developing a high-performing sales team, making a significant impact on our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Success: Regularly engage with sales representatives to monitor progress and provide support, ensuring they meet established targets.
- Optimize Sales Processes: Ensure all sales representatives utilize the company's structured selling process and digital tools like C3 for tracking activities and performance.
- Navigate Negotiations: Provide expert guidance and solutions for challenging sales negotiations, helping representatives close deals effectively.
- Innovate Traffic Strategies: Collaborate with sales representatives to develop creative strategies that attract potential customers and increase foot traffic.
- Leverage Market Insights: Work with sales representatives to gather and analyze competitor and market data, using this information to enhance sales strategies.
- Strengthen Outreach: Enhance the Realtor Broker Outreach program by building strong relationships with local realtors and brokers, increasing referrals and community engagement.
- Foster Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment and support in achieving overall business objectives.
- Build a Talented Team: Lead or assist in recruiting, training, and retaining sales representatives, implementing effective retention strategies to maintain a motivated team.
- Enhance Performance: Provide constructive feedback and coaching based on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and creating development plans.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of customer service through the KB Edge business model, promptly addressing and resolving customer service issues.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required); Four Year College Degree (preferred).
- Valid Real Estate Salesperson License (required); Broker License (preferred).
- 3+ years proven sales management experience.
- Experience in home building or a related industry is preferred.
- Action-oriented with a strong drive to achieve defined sales and marketing goals.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, develop employees, manage conflicts, and troubleshoot underperforming areas.
- Proven ability to seek solutions from the customer's perspective and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts accurately and persuasively.
- Proven ability to lead effective training sessions and conduct compelling oral presentations.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and build professional relationships, valuing others' ideas and cooperating willingly.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions informed by facts, data, and metrics, while leveraging a deep understanding of market and industry trends.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with customer relationship management software preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule on a consistent basis, including evenings, weekend and holidays
- Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers and external brokers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to move about work location.
- Ability to drive/travel locally 50% of time.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Ability to observe details at close range and communicate information so others will understand.
- Ability to transport and move up to 20 lbs and move as needed (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/IT/Land/Marketing/Sales/Studio).
- Periodically works in outdoor weather conditions (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/Land/Sales).
- The position is located at the division office (address) and requires frequent travel between new home construction sales communities #LI-onsite
Compensation Details and Benefits
KB Home offers a competitive base pay. The expected range for this position is based on experience and is noted below, paid semi-monthly.
This position is eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program.
KB Home provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, sick time and vacation.
Pay Range
USD $130,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
