The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the MCD accounting team In this role, you'll work closely with the CFO and take ownership of essential day-to-day accounting functions. You'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and contributing to continuous improvement across the department.

What You'll Do
  • General Ledger Ownership - Maintain accurate and timely general ledger entries; record daily transactions, prepare adjusting entries, and assist with account reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Support - Process invoices and payments efficiently, monitor outstanding receivables, and help keep our cash flow strong and predictable.
  • Reconciliations - Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure clean, reliable financials in accordance with GAAP.
  • Financial Reporting Assistance - Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Financial Analysis - Support ad hoc analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Organized, analytical, and eager to solve problems
