Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Cincinnati, OH to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for commercial HVAC systems.

Impact

• Maximize customer uptime by diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues quickly and effectively

• Strengthen client relationships through professional service delivery and clear communication

• Support energy efficiency goals by identifying and recommending system improvements

• Drive customer retention through quality workmanship and responsive service

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and air handlers

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues using troubleshooting methods

• Repair or replace defective components including compressors, motors, valves, and controls

• Respond to emergency service calls and restore system operation promptly

• Communicate findings, recommendations, and repair options to customers clearly

• Complete service reports, time tracking, and equipment documentation accurately

• Maintain service vehicle inventory and ensure tools are in good working condition

• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency service

• Follow EPA regulations for refrigerant handling and recovery

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience

• EPA Universal certification required

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical troubleshooting

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Ability to work independently and manage service routes effectively

Nice-to-Haves

• HVAC Excellence or NATE certification

• Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and DDC controls

• Manufacturer-specific training certifications

• OSHA 10 certification
