Human Resources Recruiting Specialist

Manpower of Huntington

Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Work Location: Onsite

Manpower of Huntington is seeking a detail-oriented HR Recruiting Specialist to support our Clients talent acquisition and core HR operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for candidates and ensures smooth, consistent, and compliant recruiting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates, providing timely and professional communication.

  • Conduct structured screening interviews and clearly explain job duties, expectations, and company culture.

  • Prepare concise screening summaries for hiring managers.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews; manage interview-related documentation.

  • Maintain accurate recruiting workflows and records in ATS, SharePoint, and Jira.

  • Organize, track, and file candidate documents ensuring audit-ready compliance.

  • Create and monitor Jira tasks for recruiting and HR activities.

  • Provide accurate job-related information, including role expectations, physical demands, and work conditions.

  • Support HR with administrative tasks, time tracking compliance, and service request intake.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

  • Perform additional HR administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or administrative work.

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ATS, Jira, and SharePoint preferred.

  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience accepted.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary role; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; frequent computer use.
