Senior Quality Technician

Works closely with Quality Department to resolve issues related to Quality and customer orders. Responsible for customer complaint review, tracking, investigations and preparation of responses. Supports review and resolution of internal quality concerns, including investigations and improvements in the Quality Management System.

  • Med Device Quality Experience
    • Complaint Handling, Investigations, Customer Response
    • CAPA, Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience with Instron/DSC
  • Problem solving methodology
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Advanced Orthodontic product and manufacturing knowledge preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge required Training will be provided for specific computer needs.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization in English. Ability to write comprehensive summaries of complaint reviews and resolutions.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate basic math to confirm counts, unit of measures, etc.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations.
Training, Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with three plus years of related experience and/or training, i.e. Medical Device Quality Management Systems and Complaint Handling.
  • Certified Quality Technician (CQT) preferred.
