Schedule Details:

We offer a $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS with eligible relocation assistance and a $2,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for PM Shifts. As part of our Amazing OR Team, you will make a difference in patients' lives every day.

Schedule/Hours: Full-time evening shift (8 or 10 hour shifts) with potential on-call duties; approximately 5-8 on-call slots and 1-2 weekend call slots in an 8-week period. You must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when on-call.

Major Responsibilities:

• Ensure a clean, safe and efficient environment for optimal patient care by maintaining aseptic surgical techniques during preparation for surgical procedures.
• Assist with gowning and gloving, preparation and draping of surgical areas, and maintain a sterile field.
• Ensure operational room safety and efficiency by setting up equipment, moving items as needed, and returning equipment post-procedure.
• Function as a Second Assistant when necessary and promptly notify staff of any equipment or supply issues.
• Transport patients, equipment, and maintain specialty carts and items.
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate to their age and specific needs.

Licensure and Certification Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) to be obtained within 6 months unless exempted by the department leader.

Education Required:

• Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.

Experience Required:

• No prior experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Understanding of aseptic techniques and various surgical tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
• Adherence to annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment with a need to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull 30 lbs, and perform various physical tasks.
• Must have functional eyesight and hearing, and adhere to safety standards by wearing required protective gear.
