Pharmacy Technicians provide basic assistance to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with the medication delivery system. Technicians will prepare new and refill medication doses which include oral, injectable, IV solutions, floor stock requests and other supply needs. They will communicate any issues with order preparation and delivery with staff pharmacist.
Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Recommended Education: Associate Degree
Required Work Experience: Entry Level - Experience not Required.

Required Certifications: Pharmacy Technician - Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy
Recommended Certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
