Program Coordinator

The Coordinator, Program Management provides directions, leadership and day-to-day management of educational departmental activities to include administrative support to Directors of Education in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) including undergraduate, graduate and faculty training programs & education coordination between attending physicians, fellows, medical students and institutional & regulatory administrative offices. The coordinator must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and problem solving skills in a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities and functions.
Job Duties- Coordinates Medical Student & Resident programs Assists with on-boarding new trainees - Residents and Medical students.
- Receives and responds to all requests for information regarding program(s).
- Participates in planning and developing methods for programming implementation and administration.
- Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotation, electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies or events.
- Establishes and maintains trainee records.
- Creates, monitors and tracks documentation of training and educational activities; and may assist with grade or evaluation submission.
- May assist with trainee accreditation.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Work Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
