Primary Care Physician Director
Location: Berkey, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $320,000–$330,000 per year
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Primary Care Physician Director to lead adult primary care services in a busy outpatient setting. This role combines direct patient care with clinical leadership, quality improvement, and support for a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care, including prevention, diagnosis, and chronic disease management.
- Oversee and support physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in the department.
- Lead quality improvement, compliance, and risk management efforts.
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- MD or DO; board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility).
- Experience with diverse or urban patient populations preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
