About the Role

As a PRN CT Technologist, you will coordinate imaging services, specifically in Computed Tomography and Radiology. Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing prescribed CT scans to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Operating CT scan equipment proficiently.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Documenting relevant findings during patient exams.
  • Communicating important patient information to physicians.
  • Implementing radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
  • Participating in departmental call schedules and assisting in other areas as needed.

Qualifications Needed

  • Associate Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology educational program.
  • Preferred experience of 1-2 years in CT procedures.
  • Certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Registered Technologist with ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
