Shipping Clerk - Position Summary

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for executing the daily shipping and receiving schedule to ensure smooth and accurate material flow throughout the facility. This role verifies and maintains detailed records of all incoming and outgoing shipments while coordinating with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Heavy SAP knowledge is required to perform daily transactions and maintain accurate system data.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Receiving

  • Monitor and follow up on all daily receiving activities.

  • Ensure incoming materials are recorded promptly and accurately.

  • Maintain the daily receiving log and process SAP transactions for all received goods.

  • Report discrepancies-including damages, shortages, or mix-ups-to the supervisor and supply chain team.

  • Enforce compliance with C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) procedures.

Shipping

  • Review and follow up on shipping schedules to ensure shipments depart on time.

  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups, tracking, and delivery confirmations.

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards.

  • Communicate effectively with internal customers and external partners to resolve shipping-related issues.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
