Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Must have cath lab experience required
• RCIS certification is not accepted
• Required certifications: Registered Nurse License for Circulator role OR Registered Radiologic Technologist License with Fluoroscopy & ARRT license
• Must have cath lab circulating experience (RN) or scrub experience (Rad Tech)
• Mac Lab/Cardiolab experience preferred
• Work with GE and Philips lab equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform procedures including left/right heart caths, angioplasty/stent, IVUS, ICE, atherectomy
• Assist with atrial fib ablations, Micra ICDs, pacemakers, lead extractions
• Support structural heart procedures: TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, LAAC (Watchman), PFO/ASD
• Patient ratio of 3 per case with 3 staff members per room
• Registered Nurses may assist in Pre/Post care Cardiovascular Observation Unit
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend per month
• On-call requirement: 1 night call per week from 3:30 PM
• Night shifts are on-call only
• May wear own scrubs or use hospital-provided blue scrubs
• Must enjoy working hard as part of a team with upbeat/positive attitude

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac care program with 3 specialized Cath/EP/Hybrid/Structural Heart rooms located on the first floor of the main hospital. The cardiac catheterization labs are equipped with advanced GE and Philips technology and utilize Mac Lab/Cardiolab systems for complex cardiovascular procedures. The facility provides a full range of cardiac services including diagnostic catheterizations, interventional procedures, electrophysiology treatments, and structural heart interventions, serving as a regional center for advanced cardiac care.
