General Statement of Job
Under occasional supervision, assists in the planning, organizing and implementing of personnel activities for certified employees. Carries out policies and procedures relating to all phases of Human Resources, including recruitment, interviewing, selection, hiring, promotion, and transfer of employees. Reports to the Director of Certified Personnel.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Coordinates the onboarding and orientation process for certified employees.
Assists with updating information on the employee Intranet regarding human resources processes.
Assists with updating and maintaining accuracy of position control for certified positions.
Serves as liaison to new employees and other departments regarding the hiring process.
Assists with creating the Hiring Of Personnel Board packet.
Performs recruitment and selection duties, including preparing job descriptions and announcements, providing position information to potential employees, screening and interviewing applicants, conducting reference checks and pre-employment testing, notifying candidates of position status, maintaining application files, etc.
Reviews and processes employment applications.
Assists with the interview and selection process.
Establishes and maintains a rapport with local, state and national agencies to increase a qualified recruitment pool.
Assists with system administrator duties for Frontline Applicant Tracking System and Frontline Central which includes, but not limited to, creating and adjusting positions and job titles to mirror District position control; maintaining job descriptions and qualifications, ensuring that postings are accurate and current.
Receives, reviews, prepares and/or submits various records and reports, including job applications, letters of recommendation, vacancy announcements, unemployment compensation forms, employment packages, surveys, tests, staffing reports, personnel transaction forms, memos, correspondence, etc.
Assists with payroll inquiries; calculates salary adjustments for approval.
Assist with processing New Hire paperwork to include E-verify, SLED, and Sex Offender
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals, such as the immediate supervisor, other administrators, co-workers, subordinates, District personnel, applicants, professional peers, students, parents, and the general public.
Performs related duties as required.

Minimum Education and Training
Requires a Bachelor's degree in human resource administration, public administration, business or related field supplemented by one to two years of experience in human resource administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
