A leading global leader in the paper and pulp industry, in over 10 countries and rapidly growing in the US. Our client produces pulp, paper, packaging and wood products with innovation, efficiency and respect for the environment. This role is hybrid from their US Headquarters in metro Atlanta.
Your new role
The Business Analyst supports commercial strategy and decision-making through data analysis, visualization, and market research for all commercial business units in the US. This role will report directly to the Director of commercial strategy.
This role generates insights that strengthen customer understanding, sales effectiveness, and overall business performance, while also providing visibility into industry trends and supply chain dynamics. The requirements are strong analytical skills and the ability to distill insights from diverse data sources related to markets, commodities, and supply chains. The analyst will gain exposure to industry trends, trade compliance, and global logistics, while developing expertise in data analysis, reporting, and project management.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field
- 1-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Strong Excel skills crucial
- Power BI or Tableau experience
