Full Time Paramedic- Day Shift. & PRN
Beaumont Emergency Hospital, located in Beaumont Texas, is looking for high energy, self-motivated, passionate PARAMEDIC who is committed to delivering HIGH-QUALITY CARE. We are seeking a dedicated Paramedic-Triage / Registration to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Physician. In this role, you will assess patients, administer medical care, assist with registration, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient and compliant healthcare services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer medical care to sick or injured patients as directed by a Physician
- Identify and report abnormal findings or changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns as needed.
- Interview patients or their representatives to assess medical concerns and care needs.
- Assist with patient registration, ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with HIPAA and EMTALA regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Coordinate communication between patients, families, medical staff, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications, Education and / or Experience
- Active Paramedic License (State-Specific Requirements Apply).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Previous emergency medicine or triage experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and written, strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient with utilizing EMRs
