Job Description

A local company is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join their team. This is a first shift opportunity starting at 7 a.m. each day.

Duties:

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment
  • Perform conduit bending of all types and sizes and wiring techniques
  • Read prints and properly install equipment
  • Use electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices
  • Lift heavy objects and work in various environments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use
  • Follow all OSHA regulations and NEC safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 5 years experience as an electrician in both commercial and industrial environments
  • Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and safety protocols and practices
  • Must be familiar with hand and power tools used in electrical work
  • Must have knowledge of high voltage systems and their installation and maintenance requirements
  • Must have the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Must be proficient using electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices
  • Must have the ability to perform conduit bending of all types and sizes
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in high and/or tight spaces
  • Must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Must understand OSHA regulations and protocols and NEC safety standards
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
