American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy Technician with at least 2 years of endoscopy experience and recent Epic proficiency for a rotating shift travel assignment.

Job Details

• Work in an endoscopy unit within an acute care hospital setting,
• 5-day work week with 8-hour rotating day and evening shifts, including required on-call coverage,
• Common procedures include ERCPs and use of endoscopic equipment such as snares and gold probes,
• No floating required during assignment,
• Epic EMR is utilized, and recent Epic experience is mandatory,
• Patient care involves intra-procedure equipment operation and support,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent in-unit endoscopy technician experience,
• Current AHA BLS certification is required,
• Proficiency in the use of endoscopy equipment and the ability to operate equipment during procedures,
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required,
• License required if applicable,

Additional Information

• Must be able to explain all employment gaps of more than 90 days,
• Reliable personal transportation is required, as public transportation is not accessible in the area,
• Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April,
• No block scheduling is permitted for any reason,
• Orientations occur bi-weekly on Mondays,
• Assignment may include shifts any day of the week (Monday through Sunday),
