Are you a dynamic sales professional who excels in breaking into new accounts, generating pipeline from the ground up, and achieving significant wins in the cloud market? RapidScale, a division of Cox Business, is looking for Senior Cloud Solutions Sales Specialists and Cloud Solutions Sales Specialists II dedicated to driving net-new business across AWS, Azure, GCP, and our private cloud offerings.

What You'll Do:
- Hunt Relentlessly: Seek out, qualify, and secure new cloud professional and managed services opportunities.
- Drive Discovery: Identify client needs through executive-level discovery sessions and craft tailored solutions.
- Design Winning Solutions: Create and present compelling presentations, demos, and proposals that lead to successful closures.
- Build Pipeline Discipline: Maintain a vigorous pipeline with accurate forecasting in Salesforce, ensuring a consistent 5:1 pipeline-to-quota ratio.
- Leverage Ecosystems: Collaborate with AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud teams and programs to enhance sales outreach and accelerate cycles.
- Stay Informed: Continuously learn and share insights on advancing cloud technologies, market trends, and competitive strategies.
Who You Are:
You're a sales professional well-versed in cloud solutions, balancing technical knowledge with a hunter's determination. You flourish in fast-paced settings, embrace prospecting daily, and possess the executive presence to engage CIOs, CTOs, and product leaders effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in selling IT/cloud solutions within a consultative, B2B environment.
- Established ability to collaborate with sales teams in closing complex deals and fostering long-term relationships.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms with at least one relevant certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Digital Leader).
- Full sales cycle experience, celebrating a history of exceeding quotas.
Senior Cloud Solutions Sales Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (or a Master’s with 6+ years, or 12+ years of total professional experience).
Cloud Solutions Sales Specialist II:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of experience in a relevant area. Alternative combinations include a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP partner programs.
- Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, containerization, infrastructure as code, and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Industry experience in Healthcare, Financial Services, or SaaS.
- Advanced cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect - Associate).
Compensation: This position offers a base salary of $105,000.00 - $175,000.00, with variation based on location and candidate experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive/commission.
Benefits: The Company provides eligible employees the discretion to take vacation time aligned with their responsibilities, along with seven paid holidays annually. Employees can utilize up to 160 hours of paid wellness hours for personal or family wellness. Additional paid time off includes bereavement leave, time-off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
