DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, your clerical work will support a Behavioral Health/Drug & Alcohol case management agency that actively participates in a community-wide partnership to support the residents of Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union Counties in achieving independence and personal development in order to enhance their quality of life. Your duties will primarily include typing, filing, answering phone, entering data into the computer, and compiling. These and related routine secretarial and clerical responsibilities will support the effective administration and involve interfacing with other staff when necessary. This work will also include direct contact with clients as they visit our office to seek the support they need.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade;or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course;or
  • Any combination of equivalent experience and training.

Other Requirements:
