In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance and functionality of our fleet vehicles and provide leadership to our team of Fleet Technicians. With a standard Monday to Friday work schedule and the possibility of overtime during evenings and weekends, we offer an immediate opening with comprehensive on-the-job training.

Salary Range: $51,613 - $72,011 Yearly Guaranteed

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure the appearance of fleet vehicles meets UniFirst standards.
  • Verify compliance with safety and vehicle regulations.
  • Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules for vehicles and equipment.
  • Mentor and motivate Fleet Technicians to excel in their roles.
  • Offer continuous learning opportunities to all Team Partners.
  • Generate performance and departmental budget reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors for optimal pricing on vehicle parts.
  • Shovel and treat parking lot surfaces as necessary.
  • Leverage a Computerized Maintenance Management System for operations.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:

Who We Are Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory; a CDL is preferred.
  • Must meet DOT requirements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; capable of training future technicians.
  • Experience with diagnostic software and fleet management systems is required.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs.
