Mechanical Engineer

 Selectek is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC and plumbing design to join our dynamic engineering firm. Our company specializes in mechanical, electrical, and fire protection engineering, as well as code consulting, energy conservation, construction phase services, and facilities management. Our projects span industrial, educational, commercial, historical, and government markets, providing innovative and sustainable building system solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and design HVAC and plumbing systems for various sectors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform load calculations, schematic design, and detailed system layouts using Revit and AutoCAD. Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, goals, and objectives while maintaining strong client engagement. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct site visits (less than 10% travel) to assess project progress and ensure quality control. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). EIT or PE certification (preferred). 5+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing system design. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (mandatory). Experience with small- to large-scale commercial and government facilities. Strong project management skills across all stages of development and construction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Why Join Us?
