Job Responsibilities- Maintain proficiency in all Interventional Radiology equipment to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Adhere to radiation safety practices for patient and staff, utilizing protective equipment and operating machinery safely.
- Perform necessary computer operations, ensuring accurate procedural documentation and billing.
- Deliver compassionate patient care, thoroughly explaining procedures and coordinating with medical teams.
- Prepare equipment and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the procedure room.
- Apply independent judgment and maintain sterile technique during procedures, including proficient IV injections.
- Review exams for technical accuracy and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Stay up-to-date with educational requirements to enhance your skills.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification is required.
- IV Certification is necessary.
- Completion of a Vocational School program is preferred.
