Job Summary:

  • Department: RADIATION ONCOLOGY
  • Shift Timings: 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (4 Days/9 Hours Shift)
  • Per Week: 36 Hours
  • This is a 9-hour shift 4 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 08:00- 17:00, total of 36 hours per week.
  • Radiation Therapist with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Need 2 Professional References.
  • Who is out of the state below per diem will be provided. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $68.79/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $57.71/hr, along with a per diem of $11.08/hr. Work Location: 2755 Herndon Ave, Clovis, CA-93611 .
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Providing individualized radiation therapy treatments to patients, in consultation with the oncology team.
  • Explaining the process to patients and answering any questions.
  • dministering radiation therapies as per patient treatment plans.
  • Using medical imaging equipment to ensure treatments are delivered accurately.
  • ssessing patients' reactions to treatments, providing advice on the side effects of treatments, and methods of alleviating these.
  • Monitoring the progress of patients and suggesting amendments to treatment plans, when necessary.
  • Providing ongoing support to patients and their families.
  • Performing quality assurance tests on simulation and treatment machines to ensure they are in working order.
  • Undertaking oncology research in order to improve treatment methods.
Certifications & Clearance Requirements
