Restaurant General Manager - New Brunswick, NJ

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee all aspects of operations at our vibrant, fast-casual restaurant. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at building strong teams, and is passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members to deliver excellent service and uphold company standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, labor management, and payroll controls.
  • Monitor product quality, consistency, and presentation to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control costs and minimize waste.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Drive sales and profitability through effective marketing, promotions, and community engagement.
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring a customer-first approach.
  • Provide clear communication and direction to staff while fostering a positive and team-oriented culture.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of management experience in a restaurant or fast-casual environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-energy setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in P&L management, cost controls, and achieving financial goals.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and operational reporting tools.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
