Electrical Controls Engineer

Location: Concord, NH 03305
Work Location: In person

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Job description:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and interpret schematic drawings, including wiring diagrams and machine control layouts.
  • Design industrial control panels, including schematics, layouts, and BOMs, compliant with NFPA 79 and UL 508 standards using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Develop and implement machine controls, including PLC/HMI programming
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and validation to ensure equipment meet all performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, and field deployment to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test reports, operation manuals, and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial controls, control panel design, or a related discipline.
