We are seeking an intermediate Design and Release Engineer. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the serial life production of Electric Drive Module Gear Reducers. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product engineering, design, and release processes, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience with NX and Teamcenter software is a plus.

"Product Engineering / Design & Releasing: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and refine gear reducer components and sub-assemblies with an emphasis on continuous improvements, warranty and cost reduction. Generate detailed designs, perform feasibility studies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Change Management: Manage and facilitate change management processes, ensuring that design changes are properly evaluated, documented, and implemented while minimizing disruptions.
• Develop DFMEAs and Evaluate Designs: Develop Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documents. Evaluate designs for potential failure modes and recommend design improvements to enhance product reliability and safety.
• DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report): Contribute to the creation of DVP&R documents outlining testing and validation procedures. Work with testing teams to ensure successful execution and documentation of verification tests.
• CAE Reviews with CAE Team: Participate in CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) reviews with the CAE team. Provide input, evaluate simulations, and contribute to refining designs based on CAE analysis.
• Monitoring Sourcing with Purchasing: Work closely with the purchasing department to monitor the sourcing of components and materials required for the products. Ensure timely availability of resources while adhering to cost and quality considerations.
• Supplier Technical Reviews: Support technical reviews with suppliers to ensure alignment on design specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. Address any technical concerns and collaborate on resolution.
• Support Pre-Pilot/Launch Activities: Play a crucial role in pre-pilot and product launch activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for production, addressing any last-minute design or engineering adjustments.
• Tooling Kick Off: Participate in tooling kick-off meetings to ensure accurate and timely development of required manufacturing tools and equipment"

"• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product engineering, design and release, preferably in Propulsion Systems
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly NX, and experience with Teamcenter is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R, and CAE processes.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
