Job Description
Our Club staff members are educators, coaches, mentors, community leaders, and ambassadors. They don't just open the doors of our Clubs - they open the door to new worlds and possibilities for kids and communities across Metro Denver.

The Club is seeking a creative and highly motivated candidate passionate about creating positive and supportive relationships with youth to serve in the role of Youth Development Specialist. The Youth Development Specialistplans, supervises, and implements a variety of high-yield activities and targeted programs revolving around these core areas: athletics, cultural arts, STEM, and education.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- One year experience directly serving youth
- Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communications with staff, Club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.
- Basic classroom management and the ability to direct youth and provide them with clear steps and tools that support goals achievement.
- Experience with lesson plan creation and implementation
- Bilingual- Spanish preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities
- Excellent customer service skills
- A valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy (at least 21 years of age and valid driver license for at least 3 years with no major violations)
- Experience working with teens and team sports.
- Targeted youth professional onboarding in your first 90 days. This includes programming from our partnership with the Denver Afterschool Alliance and the SEAL Initiative.

Conditions of Employment
- Must be able to pass criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.
- A valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy (at least 21 years of age and valid driver license for at least 3 years with no major violations)
- The successful candidate will primarily work indoors. Accordingly, the ability to use a variety of equipment including janitorial and office equipment is required.
- The job requires the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing in excess of 25 lbs.
- Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion.
- Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communications with staff, Club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.
