ESTIMATOR

A growing organization in the pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) industry is seeking a PEMB Estimator with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in the full PEMB process. This role goes beyond traditional estimating-it requires someone who understands approval drawings, knows when and how to collaborate with Engineering, and can ensure consistency and accuracy before estimates reach the client.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare detailed estimates for PEMB projects and review estimates prepared by others
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all estimates before client delivery
  • Collaborate with Engineering when drawings or technical details require clarification
  • Work with PEMB manufacturers (both large and small) and occasionally erectors, supporting overflow and specialty projects
  • Manage estimating resources and provide oversight to maintain quality standards
What We're Looking For
  • Solid background in PEMB estimating, with knowledge of the full process including parts and accessories
  • Experience working with approval drawings and understanding when to involve Engineering
  • Proficiency in Metal Building Software (MBS) is required
  • Familiarity with additional tools such as RISA, Tekla, and AutoCAD is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
