Job Title: Senior Benefits Analyst

Location: New Brighton, MN - onsite

Advance APi Group's purpose of Building Great Leaders® by serving as a Senior subjectmatter expert for U.S. health & welfare benefits operations supporting 7,000+ U.S. teammates and $75M+ in annual health & wellness spend. This role leads complex initiatives in vendor and contract management as well as M&A benefits diligence and integration. You will partner closely with the Benefits Manager, Payroll, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Total Rewards Communications, and external vendors to ensure accurate, compliant, and costeffective program delivery at scale across a multistate footprint.

What You Will Do

Operations & Controls
  • Maintain eligibility/deduction integrity across HRIS/BenAdmin platforms; monitor file feeds and exception queues and perform rootcause analysis and prevention.
  • Produce and reconcile recurring audits, reports, and dashboards (eligibility, billing, grievances, SLA metrics).
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of Annual Enrollment, ensuring accurate materials and smooth implementation
  • Support Annual Enrollment configuration, UAT, cutover checklists, and postgolive validation in partnership with the Benefits Manager.
Vendor, Contract & Financial Management
  • Assist with plan management and presentations to senior executives, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Lead daytoday vendor management for assigned H&W programs and point solutions; track SLAs/guarantees, corrective actions, and ensuring effective plan governance.
  • Own contract and SOW repositories for assigned vendors; coordinate redlines with Legal and ensure alignment to business requirements and data/security standards.
  • Oversee complex invoice reconciliation, credits/adjustments, and accruals; partner with Finance on variance analysis and forecasting inputs.
M&A Support
  • Lead benefits diligence workstreams for acquisitions/divestitures (data requests, plan comparisons, cost modeling).
  • Build harmonization and transition plans (eligibility, payroll/feeds, communications, OE timing) and coordinate onboarding with acquired company contacts.
  • Execute change communications in partnership with Communications and local leaders; track stabilization KPIs postclose.
Compliance & Risk
  • Support ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA/ADA operations; assist with audits, filings, and MHPAEA/TiC/NSA operational requirements.
  • Maintain SOPs, internal controls, and evidence repositories.
Team Member Support
  • Resolve escalated enrollment/coverage issues and complex claims scenarios with precision and care (life, disability, disaster relief, COBRA, leaves).
  • Coach and mentor Benefits Analysts on processes, controls, and service standards.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of progressive U.S. benefits experience supporting large, multistate populations, including vendor management and financial/billing ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract/SOW management.
  • Strong Excel/BI and HRIS/BenAdmin skills; evidence of building controls, KPIs, and process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA/ADA; experience with filings, audits, and controls.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and project management skills; thrives in a matrixed, fastmoving environment.
Benefits and Compensation:

This role will be based out of our New Brighton office . The pay range is $80,000 - $121,000 , depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
