WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Create, direct, and participate in activities for residents in the community as well as maintain records of resident participation
  • Maintain and decorate activity room and bulletin boards for holidays, activities, and events
  • Order supplies for activities and maintain a budget on expenses
  • Market the community through activities
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletter and activities calendar to residents, families and prospects and gather feedback from residents on activities / events
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and the Activity Assistants, where applicable
WHO WE WANT

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with seniors preferably in activities
  • Experience in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Flexibility in scheduling to assist with weekend and evening programming for the residents
  • Activity Director or Recreation Therapist certifications highly preferred
