About the Direct Support Professional II Role
Crown Staffing is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals for a Direct Support Professional II position in New Albany, IN. This role involves providing daily life skills support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. If you're patient, caring, and enjoy helping others, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with essential daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, and adult diaper changes
- Drive individuals to and from outings (store, park, doctor appointments, etc.) using a company SUV
- Prepare meals and assist with cooking
- Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry
- Support residents in achieving greater independence and quality of life
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment
