Responsibilities

  • Leverage experience with cloud-based data management technologies, particularly AWS S3, to ensure scalability and efficiency in data operations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement cloud-based data solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Leverage experience with cloud-based data management technologies, particularly AWS S3, to ensure scalability and efficiency in data operations.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Manage data warehousing solutions to support the organization's data needs, potentially using Redshift AWS.
  • Execute ETL processes using technologies like AWS Glue, SSRS (SQL Server Analysis Services).
  • Recommends improvements to existing technologies & methods, to improve the quality/timeliness of technical & customer support.
  • Delivers quality and timely results, i.e., technical and customer support, based on company business needs and objectives.
  • Recommends and implements improvements to existing technologies and methods or proposes new ones, to improve the quality and timeliness of technical and customer support.
  • Delivers quality & timely results, i.e., technical and customer support, based on company business needs and objectives.
  • Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge within areas of responsibility.
  • Fosters the development of technical knowledge and performance skills of technicians.
  • Complies with and supports all corporate, department and unit policies and procedures.
  • Keeps manager, project teams & business unit customers informed of activities & problems within assigned areas of responsibility; refers matters beyond limits of authority to manager for direction.
  • Presents technology capabilities to internal and external parties as needed.
  • Provides technology demonstrations for sales/prospect meetings as needed.
  • Support operations as needed at prospect meetings during implementation and post go live.
  • Tracks, monitors and updates senior leadership in ops on all elements related to enhancements, upgrades and chances to the business technology platform.
  • Supports other projects and other areas as needed on projects that span across own business unit.
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
  • Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics)
  • Minimum three years of experience in data modeling and data visualizations
  • Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization is required, utilizing tools like PowerBI, Dash Plotly, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Experience with cloud-based data management technologies, especially AWS S3, is necessary to leverage the scalability and efficiency of cloud computing.
  • Be able to develop and maintain data pipelines, manage data warehousing, and execute ETL processes using technologies such as Redshift AWS, AWS Glue, SSRS, and SSAS.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is expected for data manipulation and analysis
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information verbally, both one-on-one and in meetings, in a manner that is clear and concise. Presents prepared information in a manner that holds customers' interest and addresses their needs and concerns. Able to adjust presentation styles to correspond to the audience being addressed.
  • Ability to present written information in a clear, concise and organized manner. Writes technical information so that it can be understood by non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage own time, activities & resources. Identifies work activities needed to accomplish objectives & coordinates those activities to deliver desired results. Prioritizes multiple activities & projects.
  • Ability to gather and analyze facts and data and to draw correct inferences from the information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make practical, timely and realistic decisions after considering possible outcomes as well as corresponding risks.
  • Work beyond a normal 40 hour week may be required to meet project deadlines.
