Leading employed group practice is seeking an Adult psychiatrist to join the group. The psychiatrist will provide inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatric services, general adult outpatient psychiatric services and will assist with the supervision of ER evaluations. Treatment includes adult day treatment, substance abuse disorders treatment, provision of court ordered forensic evaluations, when necessary. Evaluate patients, administer tests, or request testing/lab work; analyze patient data and results. Diagnose patient with correct psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorder. Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake and modify when needed. Document patient records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments. Provide patient with emotional tools and methods for recovery.
