Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cleanroom Technician to join our team. The role involves working in a cleanroom environment where precision and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. You will be working on a rotating shift schedule, ensuring the quality and integrity of IV bags through thorough inspection processes.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect IV bags, including weight inspection, checking for functional and cosmetic defects, and ensuring seal integrity.

  • Load units into pasteurization carts in an organized manner.

  • Support all local manufacturing operations by supplying components, small parts, and other necessary items to cell culture and purification areas.

  • Operate general production equipment such as parts washers, autoclaves, and stir plates.

  • Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.

  • Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts.

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.

  • Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as required.

  • Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1 year of production or warehouse experience.

  • Must pass vision and color vision tests; cannot be color blind.

  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and verbal communication.

  • Understanding of cGMP regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a GMP environment (no makeup, no jewelry, scrub attire).

  • Ability to train on first shift for 2 days in Libertyville, then transition to the Round Lake site.

  • Commitment to working weekends with a rotating schedule.

  • Willingness to undergo THC drug testing.

  • Capability to provide a copy of High School Diploma or GED.

The role is based in a cleanroom environment where contractors are expected to wear cleanroom gowns, hair nets, beard guards (if applicable), gloves, and closed-toe shoes. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.68/hr.
